For our accommodation whilst attending the Loxton Show, we stayed on the Murray River Queen, a permanently moored paddle steamer in Renmark, South Australia. The Murray River Queen was only built in the 1970s, a bit later than I would have expected.
The stay was really pleasant, apart from an early Sunday morning noisy neighbour who had no idea how loud she was, and how far sound carries at 5.50am!
