Speleothems, stalactites, stalagmites, straws, and lots of other cave formations. That’s what you get in the Mole Creek caves. And glowworms.

Even though we lived in Tasmania for 20 years or so, this is the first time visiting one of the caves in the Mole Creek area. We went on one of the tours through the Marakoopa cave. The limestone in this area is around 450 million years old and a typical karst system.

We’ll maybe visit the nearby King Solomon cave next time we get the opportunity.
