Today is generally considered the first day of Winter here in the southern hemisphere (although there is some conjecture as to whether it should be the Winter Solstice around the 21st June).

And today started off a bit cold and wet. A storm front moved through at about 4.30am with very strong winds and horizontal hail.

9am temperature was under 5 degrees C with a Feels Like of minus 2.3.

The forecast says: Cloudy (✔). Very high (95%) chance of showers (✔) during the morning and afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm (not yet) this morning with gusty winds (✔). Possible hail (✔) this morning.

So just waiting for the thunderstorms now 😁
