Today, we drove down to Hamilton in western Victoria, to catch up with friends Chris Ah Yee and Jan Krause, as well as drop into Hamilton town centre where I picked up a couple of interesting, and relevant to me, books:
- The History of Broken Hill, it’s Rise and Progress, Leonard Curtis, 1908
- Lucky City, the First Generation at Ballarat: 1851-1901″, Weston Bate, 1978.
Now Chris and Jan are very lucky to have such cute visitors as us, but we can’t compare to the cute visitor they had a couple of weeks’ ago!
