Edit: There was a label. But it was one label for half a dozen specimens. At least I know the locality now. Waitekauri, Hauraki District, Waikato Region, North Island, New Zealand.

A specimen that I was given when I was in New Zealand many years back got put in a box. Now it has made it’s way out into the light, there is no label with it! 🤦‍♂️

I know what the minerals are, but not the locality of where it came from. The minerals are laumontite (prismatic white), mordenite (white hairs) and calcite (little colourless rhombs).

I am hopeful that a friend of mine in NZ will recognise it.

Lesson learned! Maybe. I am sure there are others!
