The 2020 Australia Day long weekend was an opportunity to travel to Loxton in South Australia to attend the Riverland Gem and Mineral Club gem show (aka the Loxton Gem and Mineral Show).
This is the first time that I have been to this show, run by the Riverland Gem and Mineral Club. In fact, it is the first time that I have been to Loxton!
I have to admit that this show exceeded my expectations. I had thought that it would be similar in size to say Mildura, or maybe Warrnambool, but it was bigger. Plenty of mineral dealers too.
I came home with a few new specimens to add to my collection.
