We have had a bit of a wet start to April, already exceeding the monthly average. Around 65mm (roughly 2.5 inches) in the first five days.
Not that the ducks mind. On this morning’s walk, I saw a group of mainly Wood Ducks. These have not been as common as the Pacific Black Ducks at Lake Esmond in the last few weeks.
Also seen this morning, a group of three Yellow-Tailed Black Cockatoos. Very majestic with their slow wing beats…
At least I didn’t get wet this morning…
